Morgan Carlton was born in British Columbia and raised in Southern California where he began to hone his craft in welding and woodworking. Morgan has lived up and down the West Coast building a variety of structures and sculptures with multiple media and techniques. Now based in Salem, Oregon, Morgan is primarily focused on welding with steel and stainless steel. He has the tools and materials to create custom projects featuring salvaged hardwoods. Morgan founded Anvil & Chainsaw in 2022 with a mission of showcasing his ability to combine different methods and materials to create unique pieces of art.
